COP BASTARD FAQ
It is a short single-player corridor shooter with three guns and no codes. Heal by spitting on a downed enemy; the charge meter only fills from kills.
Short answers to the questions that do not need a whole page.
The basics
What kind of game is it? A classic first-person shooter: corridors, enemies, three guns, no upgrades, no puzzles. Set in early-1990s Osaka with a VHS filter over everything.
How long is it? Short. The achievement list is built around repeat runs — no-damage clears, weapon kill counts, hard mode — rather than a long campaign.
Is there multiplayer or co-op? No. Steam lists single-player only.
Are there codes? No. There is no code system in the game, so there is no codes page on this site.
Is there a tier list? No, and here is why: there are three guns, and each one owns a different range. A tier list of three items with no overlap would be a marketing page, not a guide.
Buying and running it
How much is it? $12.99, discounted 10 percent to $11.69 until 7 November 2026.
Which platforms? Windows on Steam, with a same-day GOG release confirmed in the official launch post.
Will it run on my laptop? The official minimum is Windows 10, a 2.6 GHz CPU, 1000 MB of RAM and a 1 GB Shader Model 2.0+ card. That is a low bar; the demo is the definitive test.
Is there a demo? Yes, as a separate Steam app. It has its own achievements and progress does not carry over.
Playing it
Why do I keep dying with a full charge meter? Because you are hoarding it. Spend it in the room you are in — spitting on a body heals, slow motion clears.
How do I heal? Spit on a downed enemy. There is no regeneration and no heal button.
Can I turn off the camera sway? Yes, head bobbing is an option in the menu.
What is the fastest way to unlock achievements? Finish the tutorial, then play the whole game with the Beretta as your default so the 600-kill and 500-headshot counters fill at the same time.
The site
Who runs this site? It is an unofficial fan resource. Corrections go to the address on the contact page.
How often is it updated? Facts carry a checked date. Pages that depend on patches — achievements, patch notes, system requirements — get revisited when a new official post lands.
